American Girl, Arm & Hammer Tooth Tunes, Duck Tape brand duct tape, Embassy Suites Hotels, Geico and Fuhu’s nabi will sponsor this year’s RDMAs, which take place Saturday, APRIL 26 at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live and will air on Disney Channel on Sunday, April 27, at 8p. Among sponsorship highlights:
* American Girl is sponsoring onsite events at select stores across the country where attendees can learn more about American Girl’s 2014 Girl of the Year, Isabelle Palmer, and the song “UR Your Own Star,” featured in the upcoming movie, “Isabelle Dances into the Spotlight.”
* Tooth Tunes returns for a second year to sponsor the online category “So Happy – Best Song That Makes You Smile.” Social media activities include a custom Tooth Tunes photo frame, Instagram sweepstakes and backstage Tooth Tunes photo booth, with snapped photos populating an online Tooth Tunes gallery.
* Duck Tape is sponsoring an Instagram sweepstakes encouraging kids to create a unique fashion accessory using Duck Tape. As reported here, the brand will also be on the red carpet, where Radio Disney host Maddy Whitby will wear a custom Duck Tape couture dress created by “Project Runway” Season 11 winner Michelle Lesniak.
* Embassy Suites recently sponsored the “RDMAs Suite Vacation Sweepstakes,” offering one winner a free trip to LA that includes a VIP experience at the RDMAs and a two-night Embassy Suites stay.
* Another two-time RDMAer, Geico is sponsoring the category “Hit The Road Favorite Roadtrip Song.”
* nabi will sponsor the RDMA talent and performers suite at Nokia Theatre; a nabi listening lounge will also be featured at the “On the Road to the RDMAs” event.
