Kimberly King has joined the Scripps Networks team as Director, Ad Sales Marketing – Travel Channel and Great American Country. Most recently, King was the Senior Manager of Brand Solutions at BET Networks.
Comedy Central combined its talent and development departments into a single team, led by Sarah Babineau, Executive Vice President, Talent and Development, East Coast, and Jonas Larsen, Executive Vice President, Talent and Development, West Coast. Both will report to Kent Alterman, net president.
UK-based distribution and rights-management specialist Magnify Media appointed Sarah Diggins and Natalia Sterlikova to manage format and program sales to Asia, and CEE and the Middle East, respectively.
Jonathan South has been appointed Senior Vice President and Head of Europe, Electus International. Most recently, South served as Head of Worldwide Sales and Head of Non-Scripted and Alternative Programming for Televisa International.
David George has been upped to president of ITV America. George has served as CEO of Leftfield Entertainment since December 2015, when ITV completed its acquisition of the Leftfield group.

Larry W. Jones was named CEO of Blackthorn Media. Jones was previously President of TV Land. The 27-year Viacom vet is set to lead the company’s business and creative strategies, including development, production, distribution, marketing and finance of all original content.
Sky Vision hired Jason Simms as Director of Drama and Comedy. Simms last served as Senior Vice President, Global Acquisitions of Fox Networks Group Europe and Africa.
Joe Hengemuehler was appointed Vice President and General Manager of KOLD in Tucson, AZ. Hengemuehler has served as News Director at KOLD, and since the December 2016 retirement of Nick Ulmer was interim General Manager.
Party Over Here tapped Becky Sloviter as Head of Production and Development, under the production company’s multi-year deal with 20th Century Fox Television. Sloviter had been Senior Vice President of The Ink Factory.
