Wicked Cool Toys signed a multiyear licensing agreement with Sesame Workshop for summer and seasonal toys based on classic Sesame Street characters including Elmo, Cookie Monster and Abby. The licensing agreement covers North America and the line, due in late spring 2015, will feature items such as balls, sand toys, sprinklers and pools.
Spike TV greenlit special event Tut, about the Egyptian Pharaoh. The MUSE Entertainment six-hour series, to be shot in Morocca and Canada this fall for a 2015 debut, will be Spike’s first scripted event in eight years, part of an effort at the guy-skewing net to achieve a more gender-balanced audience.
