Turner Sports and CBS Sports have their announcer lineups in place for coverage of the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. Brian Anderson, Clark Kellogg and Lewis Johnson will open play with the First Four tonight starting at 6:40p, while Spero Dedes, Steve Smith, Len Elmore and Ros Gold-Onwude handle Wednesday’s microphone duties. Thursday’s assignments will see Verne Lundquist, Jim Spanarkel and Allie LaForce open the day in Buffalo with Notre Dame/Princeton at 12:15p on CBS. Ian Eagle, Steve Lavin and Evan Washburn take on Orlando’s games, Carter Blackburn, Mike Gminski, Debbie Antonelli and Lisa Byington will call from Milwaukee and Andrew Catalon, Steve Lappas and Jamie Erdahl broadcast from Salt Lake City.
Friday’s assignments feature Jim Nantz, Grant Hill, Bill Raftery and Tracy Wolfson start the action with Michigan/Oklahoma State from Indianapolis on CBS at 12:15p. Kevin Harlan, Reggie Miller, Dan Bonner and Dana Jacobson handle Tulsa’s action, Brian Anderson, Chris Webber and Lewis Johnson take on games from Greenville, while Spero Dedes, Steve Smith, Len Elmore and Ros Gold-Onwude will oversee Sacramento’s games.
Turner Sports and CBS Sports’ joint coverage of the tournament will include the return of NCAA March Madness Confidential, delivering exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to NCAA Tournament teams with this year’s crop set to include: Oregon, Florida, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Wisconsin and Virginia Tech. Production crews have been embedded with the teams beginning Selection Sunday and features will run during studio coverage across TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV throughout the Tournament, as well as on NCAA.com.
