NBC moves The Voice

After a week in which each show hit a ratings low, NBC is swapping Tuesday timeslots for The Village and The Voice, moving the scripted show to 8p and the singing competition to 9p. New Amsterdam is staying put at 10p. The move takes into account the higher percentage of delayed viewing for The Village – with fewer people watching early primetime after the change to Daylight Saving Time, the early slot will have less impact on its audience than on that of The Voice, which is more likely to be watched live. A fresh season of America’s Got Talent and new series Songland take over Tuesdays starting May 28.
