Amid the hype for the Floyd Mayweather Jr./Conor McGregor PPV on Aug. 26, Showtime PPV locked in details for the fight, locking in the price of $89.95 for the show, with an addition $10 for HD. Meanwhile, Showtime Sports announced that it will present the official live stream of the Mayweather vs. McGregor four-city, three country press tour across digital platforms. The live fully produced HD programs will be available via Facebook @ShowtimeBoxing, the YouTube @ShoSports channel, UFC.com and UFC Fight Pass. Meanwhile, CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports app for mobile and connected TV devices will simulcast all four events live with CBS Sports Network providing live coverage of Tuesday’s event from Los Angeles. Showtime Sports announcer Mauro Ranallo will host coverage from Los Angeles with analysis from Paulie Malignaggi, Brendan Schaub and Ariel Helwani.
Meanwhile, FOX Sports is getting in on the action, announcing plans for the fight with programming on FOX, FS1, FS2 and FOX Deportes leading up to the main event and recapping the action afterwards. Fight day coverage begins Aug. 26 on the FOX broadcast network and FOX Deportes at 6p with a one-hour Prefight Show, followed at 7p with two hours of preliminary boxing bouts live on the networks. The evening wraps up immediately following the PPV main event with the Postfight Show on FS1 and FOX Deportes. Meanwhile, Aug. 25 will see the Weigh-In Show on FS1 at 1p.
