Heroes hit Burbank with $1 million in play

Blizzard’s annual Heroes of the Dorm tournament booked its plans for this year’s National Championship, as 64 teams contend for the title. This year will see the Heroic Four shift its home to Blizzard Arena in Burbank on May 12, with casters Paul “InVerum” Todkill, Bron “TheSource” Mitchell, Albert “Halorin” Hailey III and Derek “DunkTrain” Arabian calling the action. The venue will serve up an on-site gear store and other goodies for college esports fans in attendance.

Meanwhile, the company is also offering fans a shot at $1 million as part of the Dorm Bracket Challenge (if they can pick a perfect bracket) and $10,000 for the entry that picks the most winners. All participants in the Bracket Challenge will receive a Heroes of the Storm in-game spray from Tespa for submitting an entry and the top 500 best performing entries in the Bracket Challenge will also receive a special Heroes of the Dorm in-game mount customized to match the colors of the 2018 National Champions.
