Game three of the NBA Finals on ABC Wednesday night delivered its highest OOH ratings for the tournament so far, averaging 7.2 million OOH viewers, according to Tunity Analytics. Games one and two averaged more than 6.8MM and 5.9MM OOH viewers, respectively.
With only one U.S. based team in the finals this year, the game three average is still down -25% from last year’s game three average of 9.6MM. Viewership peaked at 10 PM with an OOH audience of 9MM, down -19% from the 2018 peak at 11:25 PM. This year’s audience was 58.6% A25-54 compared to 61% in 2018, and skewed 73% male, versus 76% in 2018.
