Fusion will premiere five new original series on SnapChat this year for the instant-photo sharing app’s Discover media platform. The first series to debut will be a second season of Outpost, a docu-series that mixes adventure travel with investigative journalism and available on SnapChat on April 22. The other four series to launch in 2015 include: fashion history show Weird Threads; Science Fiction/Science Fact; traditional craftsperson spotlight series The Artisans; world capital exploration show Capitals; and song and lyrics series Off the Record. “We understand that millennials consume content without border and SnapChat Discover has been a critical platform in the growth and development of Fusion’s global audience,” network CEO Isaac Lee said. Since SnapChat first revealed Discover in January, Fusion has rolled out News in a Snap and a first-look for the music video Juicy Wiggle.
