Fox News topped all broadcast and cable news nets for Thursday’s coverage of the event, according to Nielsen data, averaging 5.7 million in total viewers and 1.1 million in the 25-54 demo from 10a-7p. Additionally, FNC’s special coverage at 5p (7.5 million in P2+) and 6p (7.6 million) bested the season premieres of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy (6.8 million) and CBS’ Murphy Brown (7.5 million) in total viewers. Versus FNC’s 3Q18 average, the net was up a massive 253% in total viewers and 275% in the 25-54 demo in the 10a-7p time period.
