Facebook expanded video consumption, net income in Q4

Facebook saw about as many users as net income dollars in Q4 – and in both cases, the numbers are fairly intimidating. The social media giant announced that it had 1.59 billion monthly active users in the 4th quarter of 2015, up 14% year-over-year. The company also garnered $1.56 billion in net income in Q4, more than double what it netted during the same period last year. (Its total Q4 revenue of $5.84 billion was up %52 year-over-year.) The increase in video consumption certainly can’t be hurting: The company announced that 100 million daily hours of video were streamed on Facebook in Q4.
