ESPN served up kickoff week game assignments for its lineup of college football commentators, including a slate that includes lead analyst Kirk Herbstreit and reporter Maria Taylor beginning the 2018 season campaign by working three games in five days, while lead play-by-play commentator Chris Fowler will call two games with his weekly prime-time commentator tandem. Fowler, Herbstreit and Taylor will begin in Orlando for the 2018 Camping World Kickoff in the season premiere of ABC’s Saturday Night Football 8p. Sean McDonough will make his return to the network’s college football coverage when he joins Todd Blackledge and Holly Rowe for Miami/LSU from AT&T Stadium for ABC’s exclusive Sunday night prime-time game on Sept. 2. Dave Pasch, Greg McElroy, and Tom Luginbill will take on Oregon State/Ohio State on ABC, while Steve Levy, Brian Griese and Todd McShay will make their season debut atthe 2018 Chick-fil-A Kickoff between Washington/Auburn.
