With eyes on the SEC as we hit the tail-end of the college football season, CBS Sports and ESPN laid out broadcast plans for the conference through the end of the year. CBS Sports had already slated this weekend’s Mississippi State/Alabama matchup for Saturday at 3:30p, and will wrap up the regular season with Ole Miss/Arkansas on Nov. 15, Arkansas/Missouri on Nov. 28, the Egg Bowl with Mississippi/Ole Miss on Nov. 29 and wrapping up with the SEC Championship on Dec. 6 at 4p.
ESPN, in turn, will get the Iron Bowl this year, pitting Auburn/Alabama on Nov. 29 at 7:45p. SEC Network will also offer a live alternate presentation to ESPN’s coverage with specific details to be finalized. This will mark the first time ESPN has televised the Iron Bowl since a prime time telecast on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007. Other matchups on the main channel include LSU/Texas A&M on Nov. 27 at 7:30p.
