BET Networks lands President Obama interview

President Barack Obama sat down with BET Networks for an exclusive interview at the White House to discuss the recent unrest in America. BET’s 106 & Park airs a portion of the interview on Monday, December 8 at 5p. The full in-depth interview airs immediately following at 6p on BET News Presents: A Conversation with President Barack Obama.

Meanwhile, Stephen Colbert welcomes President Obama as his guest on the Monday, December 8 episode of The Colbert Report. Colbert announced the news on his show’s Thursday night airing, noting that his interview will be part of a special visit to the capitol. He said that he’s calling it “Stephen Colbert Presents: Mr. Colbert Goes to Washington, D.C. Ya Later, Legislator: Partisan is Such Sweet Sorrow: A Colbert Victory Lap ‘014.” The Colbert Report airs on Comedy Central.
