Apple and Comcast are talking about a possible streaming-TV service. According  to the Wall Street Journal, the new set-top-box would blend live TV with apps, web video and a focus on gaming. The OTT box would replace a cable box; Apple is hoping to allow people to watch programming on-demand, but would have to acquire TV rights on its own, the report said. Apple has been working to release an updated version of its Apple TV box ($99), which currently offers apps like HBO Go, Netflix and Hulu. Meanwhile, Amazon is expected to release a streaming-stick much like the Google Chromecast design in April.
