The Star Trek franchise is expanding. CBS Television Studios inked a five-year overall deal with Star Trek: Discovery co-creator/executive producer Alex Kurtzman and his Secret Hideout Productions. Kurtzman will oversee the development of a new Star Trek series, mini-series and other content including animation.
