New animated series Star Wars Resistance debuts with a one-hour premiere Sunday, October 7 at 10p on Disney Channel, DisneyNOW and Disney Channel VOD, with subsequent airings on Disney XD. A reboot of CBS sitcom Designing Women (1986-1993) is in the works at Sony Pictures Television, with series creator Linda Bloodworth-Thomason onboard, reports TVLine. The studio will soon be shopping for a home for the comedy about four women working at an interior design company.
