The clock hasn’t run out on Timeless after all. NBC canceled the time travel drama last week, but changed course after fan outcry. “So huge thanks to NBC for supporting us,” tweeted EP Eric Kripke on Saturday. “And THANKS for the fan support….It worked, guys!” A 10-episode season 2 will air in 2018.

CBS canceled 2 Broke Girls after 6 seasons. The show earned a solid 1.8 rating among A18-49 in Live+7 numbers, but CBS did not have an ownership stake in the Warner Bros. comedy. The Great Indoors is also out, after one season.

Pop star and first American Idol champ, Kelly Clarkson, has joined season 14 of NBC’s The Voice – which will premiere in spring 2018, when ABC’s Idol reboot is slated to debut. Another Idol alum, season 3’s Jennifer Hudson, was named coach for the Peacock net’s singing competition’s 13th season.

Fox Networks Group appointed Joe Marchese President of Advertising Revenue. In his new role, Marchese will oversee linear and nonlinear sales, advertising research and advanced ad products for FNG’s portfolio of industry-leading network brands. Marchese was appointed President of Advanced Advertising Products at Fox Networks Group in 2015.

Fox canceled Rosewood after two seasons, making room for new series pickups. The Morris Chestnut- and Jaina Lee Ortiz-starring crime drama saw initial success in fall 2016 but struggled since last fall when the network moved it to Thursdays.
