Associate Producer – Capitol Report
NTD (sister media of The Epoch Times) is looking for a mid-level Associate Producer to join the team behind Capital Report. You will help carry out key editorial and creative tasks under the supervision of a senior producer.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll pitch ideas, write scripts, book guests, support shoots, and help shape episodes in post-production. The right candidate will have strong editorial instincts, solid writing and research skills, and the ability to run segments independently while working well with a team.
This is a full-time role based in Washington, DC.
What You’ll Do
- Pitch story ideas and write scripts/segment outlines
- Research guests and interview topics
- Book guests and coordinate interviews
- Help with logistics and sometimes field production
- Support shoots and ensure production runs smoothly
- Review footage and work with editors to shape final episodes
- Write headlines, teasers, and social posts
