WWE’s WrestleMania once again took the social state in 2016, as the company’s premiere event saw 101,763 fans pack into AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, while a company-record audience watched worldwide. To drum up engagement for the event, along with all the activitieis around it, WWE’s Social Team took the content provided on the ground by producers and redistributed their photo and video assets across more than 200 WWE Superstar and WWE-branded social media accounts across 10 different platforms – Facebook, Twitter,Instagram, Snapchat, Vine, YouTube, Pheed, Tumblr, Google+ andPinterest. Results saw WrestleMania 32 ranks as the most social event in WWE history with 2.5 million mentions on Twitter throughout the day and 1.3 million mentions during the broadcast alone, for upticks of 50% and 18% year-over-year, respectively. Overall, WrestleMania 32 garnered a record 10.9 million social mediafan engagements, up 19% from the prior year.
