The Cable Entertainment division of NBCUniversal launched the In Development program to help make meaningful connections across their 10 channels and 2 studios properties through a mentor/mentee experience. Year one of the program launched in June 2014 with 324 employees participating (30 percent of their population). Year two launched in 2015 and participation grew to 445 employees, which reflects 40 percent of the portfolio’s total staff population. Noteworthy: 61 percent of their participants are female and 26 percent are people of color.
