Entries are NOW open for the 7th Annual Cynopsis Digital Model D Awards. An annual must for all digital innovators in the media space, the Cynopsis Digital Awards have been honoring the best in online video content, advertising, talent and digital media's movers and shakers for 7 years running. Nominations are also open for the Cynopsis Digital "It List" Awards. We're looking for executives at every level who excel in digital content, marketing, advertising and social media. 

Finalists will be notified in early September and honored at a celebration event in November in New York City.

      This award honors the best platform/device for streaming web content to smart or connected TVs, offering content availability and discovery, user interface, and other innovative or unique features.

      Honoring a branded content site that exists within an existing website and enhances the brand by telling a story, highlighting a campaign or inspiring a call to action.

      A social campaign that successfully worked with or through a digital influencer to increase brand awareness and brand lift to reach a specific consumer. The collaboration was executed creatively and tactfully in order not to alienate followers.

      Best Use of a Digital Influencer in a Web Series

      A scripted or unscripted web series that successfully brought on a digital influencer as a member of the show’s cast or as a guest in order to increase brand awareness and brand lift to better reach a specific consumer. The collaboration was executed creatively and tactfully in order not to alienate followers.

      Outstanding Team of the Year

      Recognizing exceptional collaboration internally and among clients and agencies, this award honors both the company culture as well as external success in the marketplace. 

      Best Digital Consumer Brand

      The consumer-facing brand that best demonstrates excellence in video creative, execution and success across platforms and consumer touch-points.

      Best Celebrity Integration in a Web Series or Channel

      This award honors the best integration of a celebrity cameo or celebrity playing a scripted character in a web series or channel. The celebrity could have appeared once or multiple times within the programming.

      Best Host in a Sports-Related Web Series or Channel

      This award honors the top host of a sports-related web series on a multi-channel network or YouTube channel.

      Honoring the ubiquitous social media feed to generate brand awareness and engagement, 140 characters at a time.

      This award recognizes excellence in the creative and strategy behind a marketing campaign that utilized multiple platforms, screens (traditional, digital, out-of-home, experiential), and tactics to promote a broadcast series.

      This award honors a channel (on YouTube or MCN) that reels in the most fan engagement, or the ability for a producer to evoke a significant reaction from its audience. Engagement factors in views, subscribers, comments and social media factors involving "likes," "retweets," "favorites" and more. Please submit nominations that include data for these measurements listed. 

      Best Documentary (Single or Series)

      This award honors outstanding creativity and engagement in a documentary video single video or series.

      Best Live Series or Event

      Honoring outstanding creativity or engagement in a short video series focused on a live event.

      Best Short Form Video from a TV Network or Digital publisher

      Honoring a single short-form video produced by a TV network or digital publisher that’s not connected to an existing series.

      Best Short Form Video Using Gamification (Contests, Rankings)

      Honoring the use of short form video to create engaging and creative game, competition or quiz-based videos.

      Best Use of Comedic Short Form Video

      Honoring outstanding creativity and engagement in a short one-off comedy video.

      Best Use of Companion Video for TV Show

      This award honors the video, webisode or series developed to extend the program or storyline of an existing TV show to increase viewer interest and engagement.

    We’re looking for the most innovative executives in digital media who excel in digital content, marketing, advertising, social media, and online content to take their place on Cynopsis Digital’s “It List.”

    They’re the digital thinkers and doers behind the scenes whose peers notice and emulate them. They’re the type of people who always seem to be one step ahead, who can anticipate when the winds are shifting and are the first to reposition their team and their company to take the best advantage of new opportunities. These are the people who have defined success in daily business life through a potent combination of intelligence and influence. Their decisions affect the digital content industry, shake up the status quo and change the future.

    It’s not just senior-level people who belong on the Cynopsis Digital “It List.” They’re movers and shakers at every level, from managers to directors and more. That’s why we want to recognize and celebrate them.

    How to Enter

    The entry process is completed solely online:   Enter: Model D  Nominate: IT List

    First, you will be guided through the registration process, and then the entry (synopsis + supporting materials) and payment process.

    Finalists will be notified in early September and honored this November in New York City.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible, the content, campaign or initiative must have taken place (either in part or in full) between May 30, 2018, and July 25, 2019. Some of the work must have occurred during this time, but it’s not necessary for it to be completed during the eligibility period.

    A 400-word synopsis describing your entry using the following sub headings:
