Entries are NOW open for the 8th Annual Cynopsis Digital Model D Awards. An annual must for all digital innovators in the media space, the Cynopsis Digital Awards have been honoring the best in online video content, advertising, talent and digital media's movers and shakers for 8 years running. Nominations are also open for the Cynopsis Digital "It List" Awards. We're looking for executives at every level who excel in digital content, marketing, advertising and social media.
Finalists will be notified in late September and honored at a celebration event in November.

      This award honors the best use of AR technology, including user interface, data collection capabilities, advertiser opportunities and other innovative features.

      This award honors a scripted or unscripted original podcast or audio program exclusively produced to be downloaded from the web.

      Honoring outstanding creativity and engagement in an animated short video series.

      Best Short Form Comedic Video

      Honoring outstanding creativity and engagement in a short one-off comedy video.

      Honoring outstanding creativity and engagement in a short video series or single video with a prosocial message. 

      Best Sports Web Series

      Honoring a scripted original video, short or clip produced exclusively for the web (programs that were repackaged and transitioned from the web to TV are also eligible).

      Best Web Series

      This award honors scripted or unscripted original series exclusively produced for the web.

      Scripted original video, short or clip produced exclusively for the web (programs that were repackaged and transitioned from the web to TV are also applicable).

      Most Fan Engaged Channel

      This award honors a channel (on YouTube or MCN) that reels in the most fan engagement, or the ability for a producer to evoke a significant reaction from its audience. Engagement factors in views, subscribers, comments and social media factors involving "likes," "retweets," "favorites" and more. Please submit nominations that include data for these measurements listed.

    “It” List

    We’re looking for the most innovative executives in digital media who excel in digital content, marketing, advertising, social media, and online content to take their place on Cynopsis Digital’s “It List.”

    They’re the digital thinkers and doers behind the scenes whose peers notice and emulate them. They’re the type of people who always seem to be one step ahead, who can anticipate when the winds are shifting and are the first to reposition their team and their company to take the best advantage of new opportunities. These are the people who have defined success in daily business life through a potent combination of intelligence and influence. Their decisions affect the digital content industry, shake up the status quo and change the future.

    It’s not just senior-level people who belong on the Cynopsis Digital “It List.” They’re movers and shakers at every level, from managers to directors and more. That’s why we want to recognize and celebrate them.

    If you submit the same entry into multiple categories, each additional entry is discounted by $224 per category. Payment in full must accompany the entry. All entries are non-returnable and non-refundable.

    How to Enter

    The entry process is completed solely online:   Enter: Model D  Nominate: IT List

    First, you will be guided through the registration process, and then the entry (synopsis + supporting materials) and payment process.

    Finalists will be notified in late September and honored this November.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible, the content, campaign or initiative must have taken place (either in part or in full) between May 30, 2019, and July 25, 2020. Some of the work must have occurred during this time, but it’s not necessary for it to be completed during the eligibility period.

    Entries must include:

    Synopsis

    A 400-word synopsis describing your entry using the following sub headings:

    • Objectives
    • Strategy
    • Tactics
    • Execution
    • Evaluation of Success/Results/ ROI

    While these headings are not mandatory, we do recommend using as many as you can as it relates to your entry. The more information provided, the better!
