The Senior Content Producer is highly skilled in all areas of content production for live and taped NESN Red Sox, Bruins shows and original programming. The primary responsibility for the Senior Content Producer is to format, edit and line produce a weekly 30-minute kids baseball show, NESN Clubhouse, throughout the Red Sox Season. The Senior Content Producer also creates content for Bruins and Red Sox shoulder programming and can line produce a Pregame or Postgame show, as necessary. The Senior Content Producer is expected to master all levels of content producer duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Produces edited, turnaround and compilation programming
Coaches and produces Kid talent for NESN Clubhouse segments and show
Project manages content for 20-episode NESN Clubhouse season
Produces, writes and edits multi-shoot features
Can lead produce an edited special or weekly show, formatting and overseeing content production and delivery
Edits, writes and formats long-form interview, documentary shows
Works directly with editor and talent to produce long-form shoulder programming
Formats and produces elements for show segments, including researching storylines, collaborates with talent on script, ENPS script code into format of conceived show segment.
As assigned, produces Bruins and Red Sox shoulder, edited, turnaround and compilation programming
Creates hi-end bumps, teases, features, composite highlights and b-roll elements; codes, edits and exports these elements into ENPS MOS system
Maintains a high level of knowledge of Red Sox and Bruins, and MLB and NHL news
Active interest to learn specialty cameras such as C-300 in addition to PMW 200 and PMW 500
Learns skill set to shoot field b-roll and sound for features
Assigned to other duties, shows as needed by Production Management
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Broadcasting, Radio/TV/Film or equivalent work experience required.
5 or more years of experience in sports television at a regional or national level
Fluency in non-linear editing and ability to develop and edit elements with little direction
High level of writing and editing experience
Knowledge of ENPS is expected
Excellent written, verbal communication organizational skills are required
Ability to travel/ work weekends required
