Sales Planner

The Sales Planner will develop sales plans and packages for clients that meet the needs of the network/digital clients and sales staff. They will support the Account Executive with deal execution and work with the P&I team to maximize yield by advertiser for both linear and digital sales.  


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and revise sales plans that maximize the use of inventory while fulfilling agency/client requirements. 
  • Manage and process all cancellation and expansion options. 
  • Stewardship: maintain client schedules to ensure delivery of buy, build/schedule ADU packages as needed, work with assistant and traffic to manage preemptions, reaffirm quarterly estimates and create account posts. 
  • Account Servicing: work closely and communicate directly with appropriate agency/client counterparts as needed to ensure excellent service at all times. 
  • Generate, track and distribute assigned sales reports, via all sales systems.  
  • Work closely with the inventory manager to discuss Inventory/Recaps, and enforce all pricing and planning deadlines, policies and procedures for both linear and digital.  
  • Handle various miscellaneous duties as assigned, including the coordination of training for sales assistants and preparing pitches. 
  • Assist with custom deck presentations and incorporating research data and marketing sponsorships. 

Oversee execution of marketing elements across platforms.
