The MTV Entertainment Group Research and Insights Department is looking for a Freelance Manager for the Multiplatform Analytics team. The role will be an integral part of the team that oversees content optimization across MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, VH1 and all other brands under the MTV Entertainment Group umbrella. This role is responsible for synthesizing insights from every available data source in order to provide expert guidance on brand and franchise performance. This person is the backbone of the team and is essential in making sure that daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports are accurate and actionable so that every Department Head across the brands has the information needed in order to make informed decisions. This person serves as the voice of the consumer as they are the ones that are best able to see who this consumer is, how they are viewing our content and when they are viewing.
- Provide top line and detailed analysis, reports and highlights for the brand and franchises.
- Analyze and explain the relationship/impact between across platforms wherever content lives
- Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze industry dynamics in order to formulate timely strategic planning
- Deliver meaningful written insights on programming trends, performance, the competitive landscape, and audience behavior to inform strategies.
