Speaking about the importance of branding sponsorships and how influencers display themselves to the public, the owners offered insights into what is important in a top-tier organization. “A great org can make mistakes and them into a positive,” said Frank Villarreal, President of Rogue Esports. Erik Anderson of Faze described the abundance of esports titles as a “land grab,” warning that organizations must make smart choices when it comes to which games they focus on. Each organization had a different method for handling their influencers and brand image, demonstrating the diversity in thinking in the industry.
