ABC 2013

ABC announced the addition of 14 new shows to its established slate of programming at a spangly Upfront presentation at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall in New York, featuring the entire GMA ensemble, the retiring Barbara Walters, Rebel Wilson, Diane Sawyer, Kerry Washington, Joss Whedon, and Jimmy Kimmel. A tie-free Disney CEO Bob Iger watched while ABC/Disney Television Group President Anne Sweeney, (“ABC has never been a traditional company” she said), President of Sales Geri Wang, and Entertainment Group President Paul Lee talked about ABC’s continual innovation, as they unveiled the network’s new series and specials.
