UPFRONT 2010: CANWEST BROADCASTING - GLOBAL

Canada's Canwest Broadcasting revealed the 2010-2011 primetime schedule for its TV network, Global last week. The network acquired several new shows for Fall and is returning four other top freshmen series. Global's primetime schedule by night includes (new programs in bold and italicized):

•    Monday: Entertainment Tonight, Entertainment Tonight Canada, House (season 7), Lonestar, Hawaii Five-O

•    Tuesday: Entertainment Tonight, Entertainment Tonight Canada, Glee (season 2), NCIS: Los Angeles (season 2), The Good Wife (season 2)

•    Wednesday: Entertainment Tonight, Entertainment Tonight Canada, Survivor: Nicaragua (season 21), NCIS (season 8), Lie To Me (season 3)

•    Thursday: Entertainment Tonight, Entertainment Tonight Canada, Bones (season 6), The Office (season 7), Outsourced, Love Bites

•    Friday: Entertainment Tonight, Entertainment Tonight Canada, 90210 (season 3), Shattered, Outlaw

•    Saturday: Saturday Night Movie #1, Saturday Night Movie #2

•    Sunday: 16:9 (season 3), Ice Pilots: NWT (season 1), The Simpsons (season 22), The Cleveland Show (season 2), Family Guy (season 9), American Dad (season 7), Brothers & Sisters (season 5)

Additionally, at midseason Global will add the new series Ride-Along on Mondays at 9p; NCIS will move to Tuesdays at 8p; Glee will come after Survivor on Wednesdays at 9p; and a new season of The Celebrity Apprentice will start Sundays at 9p.
