PepsiCo’s Brisk eSports move

Non-endemic brands took another step toward eSports immersion as Pepsi inked a deal with OpTic Gaming to launch its new Brisk brand, Brisk Mate. rEvXP represents OpTic Gaming and facilitated the deal for the famed squad. “Sometimes it’s better to put the product into the hands of influencers who the audience looks up to instead of trying to figure out what they think they may want to hear or see,” said OpTic Gaming owner Hector Rodriguez, who noted that “The Brisk Mate brand team showed a genuine interest in eSports and they have been very collaborative in reviewing the most authentic ways to speak to our fans. They have given us quite a bit of creative latitude to express ourselves with their product(s) and it will definitely be an evolving relationship with a lot of surprises along the way for the fans and the consumers alike.”
