Game Six pushes FOX

A Royals domination in Game 6 of the World Series still handed FOX with the highest-rated and most-watched contest of the 2014 World Series to-date and scored an 8.1/13 household rating/share, with 13.4 million viewers tuning in, per Nielsen. Adding in FOX Deportes own share of the audience, viewership for the game rises to 13.6 million. Anyway, the FOX rating and audience for Game 6 mark 11% and 6% rises over Game 5 and ranks as the network’s highest-rated prime-time broadcast (excluding Super Bowl Sunday) since the American Idol premiere in January. Kansas City led all markets with a 54.6/72, followed by San Francisco’s 27.7/48.
