Duck Tape couture? The RDMA sponsor has a surprise in store for the April 26 event

Pay close attention to the action on the red carpet at Disney’s RDMAs on April 26. Maddy Whitby, on-air talent from Radio Disney, will be strutting her stuff in a dress made entirely of, wait for it, Duck Tape. The couture is part of Duck Tape’s integrated sponsorship of the event. “We are right in their wheelhouse, and they wanted to see of one of the talent would wear a dress made entirely of their product,” Disney Media Sales EVP Rita Ferro tells CynKids. Project Runway season 11 winner Michelle Lesniak is at work on a few colorful options for Maddy to chose from. Disney is also holding a Ducked Out Sweepstakes. Through April 19 entrants can post a photo of their Duck Tape creation on Instagram using hashtag #RDMADuckedOut. A winner will receive a trip for five to the RDMAs and a meet and greet with Maddy.
