CBS Sports is looking for a senior writer/producer who is passionate and knowledgeable about sports with a particular understanding of NFL, College Football, the NCAA Basketball Tournament, PGA Tour and the Masters. This high level position is responsible for the writing and producing of all weekly promotion for CBS Sports events.  A high volume of material will be produced under tight deadline pressures.  Superior conceptual skills will need to be combined with an attention to detail, accuracy and proficiency.    

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Write and produce all topical TV, radio and drop-in promos for CBS Sports broadcasts
  • Supervised all edit, audio and graphic sessions
  • Responsible for logistical oversight of product delivery
  • Conceptualize and execute Image Campaigns for CBS Sports
  • Ability to pitch and present ideas to top management team 
  • Produce Chairman’s Affiliate presentation
  • Interact closely with CBSSN, digital, affiliate, sales and media divisions
  • Seek out external resources and vendors
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
