Senior Business Analyst, Global Consumer Products Business Operations

Overview and Responsibilities

General/Overall Responsibilities:

  • Operates as a domain expert for Consumer Products (CP) financial and contract management processes, solutions, and operations related to current business platforms
  • Support the Senior Manager in leading the administrative activities (e.g. Sales system to GL interface, SOX compliance, contract, forecast, security and royalty administration, trouble ticket management, etc.) related to current CP systems and processes
  • Assist Senior Manager of Global CP Systems Operations in evaluating ongoing business needs/requirements for CP finance, legal and global sales functions to support Viacom’s elite OTC, financial and legal systems platform
  • Partners with internal team members, cross-functional teams in order to analyze and resolve issues related to financial and contract management processes for current CP business platforms

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and resolve ongoing issues related to current CP contract, royalty and risk management process and systems (i.e., Contract Management System [License Maestro], Licensee/Agent Portal (Deal Entry, Royalties, Forecasting), SAP GL Interface.
  • Support Senior Manager as additional CP Global Operations liaison to the Finance, Financial Shared Services Order-to-Cash [OTC] Team, Legal, Media Technology Solutions (MTS) and Accounting groups on issues that may impact current royalty and contract management processes and systems
  • In conjunction with MTS, evaluate and test new releases of License Maestro contract and royalty management system and portal
  • Responsible for building and analyzing monthly LM-SAP reconciliations, quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) reconciliations, and daily trouble ticket resolution/monthly trouble ticket reporting
  • Responsible for updating and developing use cases/test cases for all systems around CP finance, contract administration, and compliance functionalities
