All my votes are going to Deadliest Catch this year for Non-fiction!!! Never have I felt like I was watching the "same ol' crabbing story", and never have I felt contrived storylines.

While Life was pretty impressive, Oprah's voice did not match the imagery and therefore was completely distracting, otherwise it would be on the list. Poor casting with that one.
