WHO ARE THE YOUNG PROS THAT HAVE ATTRACTED YOUR ATTENTION THIS YEAR?
Cynopsis Media’s 2015 Rising Stars program honors those with the smarts, maturity, and composure that give them the potential to be one of the next generation’s leaders. They may be 30 years old or younger, but they bring amazing energy and creativity to their work.
These awards are designed to encourage and reward exceptional accomplishment. So enter yourself or the most promising young professionals on your team for Cynopsis Media’s Rising Stars competition.
The Rising Star Awards are open to industry professionals aged 30 and under, spanning across all aspects of the business including Distribution, Ad, Sales, Marketing, PR, Technology, Finance, Legal, Production and more.
Respondents are not required to answer all questions to be considered (except where indicated), but we do encourage you to provide as much information as possible so that we can evaluate each submission fairly and accurately. Both domestic and international organizations are eligible to enter and will be judged on the content submitted.
Please note that the names and identities of all nominators will remain confidential, but the information provided will be used for judging purposes and for coverage in Cynopsis.
You can nominate yourself or your colleagues. While not all of the sections are mandatory, we do recommend providing as much information as possible. The more content provided, the better!
Your nomination/s should be submitted by July 16 and will need to include the following:
- The nominee’s name
- The nominee’s position (title and organization)
- The nominee’s age
- Your professional relationship to the nominee (*you can self-nominate)
- A brief synopsis on why this young pro should be honored with a Rising Star award (max 500 words)
- At least 3 concrete examples of his or her stellar achievements over the past year (specific campaigns, events, programs – proof that this person shines!)
- A sample of his or her work and/or supporting materials (media clips, press materials, campaign results and any other relevant items)
- Nominee’s contact information (full name, title, organization, email and phone)
- Your name and contact information so that we may follow up with questions during the judging process
Supporting materials should show evidence of the success of their/your work.

Entry Deadline: Thursday, July 16, 2015 I Late Deadline: Thursday, July 23, 2015 I Awards Event: Thursday, October 15, 2015
Entry Fees: The price of each entry is $350. Payment in full must accompany the entry and is not refundable. All entries must be submitted online by Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 11:59pm EST. Entries submitted between Friday, July 17 and Thursday, July 23, 2015, will automatically incur a $175 late fee per entry. Finalists will be notified in late August and honored on October 15, 2015 in New York City.
Receipts: Once your entry is submitted and paid, you will be emailed a receipt confirming the payment. The receipt includes payment date, amount and card number. You can also download a full Invoice that has all the entries paid for listed on it.
