The report also says that Sterling will include options that take advantage of parent company Barnes & Noble's "More in Store" features. A second Splinter book series is planned for fall 2011, with a third slated for 2012. While initially focusing on book series, Splinter will publish standalone novels, but all books will focus on teens looking to make their own way.
