Amazon Studios (http://studios.amazon.com/) unveils the first set of four projects for its initial series development slate. One of the four projects is a preschool property titled Buck Plaidsheep. Created by artist Frank Suarez and writer Clark Stubbs, the animated series follows the adventures of a brave critter named Buck. Whenever there is a problem at Fleecy Farm, Back heads into action setting out on one of his vehicles to save the day. Though things don't always worked out as initially planned, the series underlines Buck's positive attitude. Amazon Studios says they liked the project because of its memorable characters, including a plaid sheep and a paisley sheep, strong narrative threads and adventure, as well as the positive qualities such as perseverance and desire to help others. The Amazon Studios "Consider List" (http://studios.amazon.com/consider-list/series) has also added two preschool series, Monsto Pow and The Adventures of Droppy, Breezy, Sparky and Pebbles. As previously announced, Amazon Studios plans to add projects to its series and movie development slates regularly. The Amazon Studios team will evaluate each submitted project and in 45 days decide whether or not to pay $10,000 to extend the initial option by 18 months and add the project to the development slate.
