industry; and lastly an 11% share in IBOPE PDM, IBOPE LA and IMI.com, part of
the IBOPE Group specializing in media, market and opinion research based in

insight and consultancy unit. These transfers are expected to be final by the
end of this year.

CYNOPSIS DIGITAL - TODAY'S TOP STORY: Warner
Bros. became the latest studio to bow out
of the broadband-happy Korean DVD market, according to the WSJ, choosing
instead to license pressing and distribution rights to a local company. Warner
Bros. follows Sony, Paramount, Universal, Buena Vista and 20th Century Fox
which have all discontinued selling DVDs directly in the territory due to
falling sales. DVD sales will drop to a projected $285 million this year - less
than half of revenues in 2002. The presumption is that the lion's share of the
lost business is due to piracy. South Korea has the most advanced broadband
infrastructure in the world (94% penetration rate,) offering blinding
connection speeds at a fraction of the cost of U.S.-based services. Full edition:CYN DIGITAL.

CYNOPSIS KIDS - TODAY'S TOP STORY: 4Kids Entertainment has entered into an agreement with Fox to settle
their litigation. Under the terms of the settlement deal, 4Kids and Fox
will cease their eight-year-old Saturday morning broadcast agreement,
which currently features the 4KidsTV block (8a-12p) on Fox, on December
31, 2008, that is nine months earlier than original deal that would have ended
in September 2009. The termination of the deal will also include the end
of 4Kids financial obligation for the first three quarters of 2009. Fox
has not announced any plans for its Saturday morning, which has traditionally
offered programming for kids. Al Kahn, Chairman and CEO, 4Kids
Entertainment, explained, "We believe that the settlement is favorable for
both companies and enables 4Kids, beginning in early 2009, to focus resources
on our five-hour block of children's Saturday morning television [TheCW4Kids]
on The CW Network." 4Kids will continue to invest in creating content
for its digital platforms, including 4Kids.tv as well as Chaoticgame.com. Full edition:CYN KIDS.
CYNOPSIS INTERNATIONAL - TODAY'S TOP
STORY: 2,200 ... that will be the number of employees soon
to be cut loose from Virgin Media by 2010's end. The company will start
losing this 15% of its U.K. workforce in 4Q2009 due to restructuring efforts
triggered by losses and less-than-stellar growth. The hopes are that the
job cuts will save the company over $185 million a year in cash by 2012. Full edition:CYN INTERNATIONAL.
