NOTE CORRECTION: Ricky Sprocket is co-produced by Studio B Productions, a subsidiary of DHX Media Ltd., and Snowden Fine animation in association with Bejuba! Entertainment. Ricky Sprocket, a Studio B Productions and Snowden Fine Animation co-production, is shooting further into the world following new sales by Bejuba! Entertainment to 29 new global territories as part of a Nickelodeon deal. The series is co-produced in association with Bejuba!. Nickelodeon licensed Ricky Sprocket - Showbiz Boy (26x22-minutes/52x11-minutes) for broadcast on Nickelodeon channels in Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Malta, Nigeria, Turkey, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Israel and The African Continent. Armoza Formats' Overdraft Family coaching reality format has wrapped up new international licensing agreements with commissions from Lithuania for a 20-episode run on UAB's Kanal 5 this winter. The format, in which a life coach helps families with financial and emotional issues has been licensed in India as well and already airs on Spain's Cuatro. Peace Arch Entertainment Group Inc. acquired all distribution rights globally (excluding much of Africa, France and European French-language territories) to the The Line drama series. The series is currently in production in Canada with half of season 1's fifteen 60-minute episodes in post-production. The series is produced by Toronto's The Nightingale Company and will make its Canadian debut as The Weight in Spring 2009 on Movie Central (Western Canada) and The Movie Network (Eastern Canada), with Canadian English-language rights going back to Peace Arch following the pay TV license windows. Speaking of Astral Media's The Movie Network (eastern Canada) and Corus Entertainment's Movie Central (western Canada) ... The two channels will debut Sanctuary, a new original drama originating from an Internet-based concept. It will premiere day-and-date with SCI FI Channel with a 120-minute debut on October 3 at 9p ET on The Movie Network and 8p PT on Movie Central. Subsequent episodes will air at 8p ET/7p PT.
