INTERNATIONAL MARKET: Nat Geo Wild is being let loose by National Geographic Channels International in the wilds of France. The channel will be available on the country's Canalsat platform from 7a-130a on the CANALSAT Family Pack, reaching 1.5 million subscriber homes. Starting October 1, Sweden's NonStop Television will debut a new Baltic region feed for its Silver film network. Estonia's Elion digital TV operator will be the first to import the channel with Latvian and Lithuanian launches to follow soon afterwards. E! Israel, a Comcast International Media Group and Tel-Ad Broadcasting Channels Ltd. (Israel) partnership, has been renewed for another 3 1/2 years. The channel is carried on both cable (HOT) and satellite (YES) digital platforms with local content and E! series such as E! True Hollywood Story, E! News, Dr. 90210 and Keeping UpWithThe Kardashians. Actor Danny Dyer has been tapped to host U.K.-based Bravo's new fall series, the Zig Zag Productions-produced Danny Dyer's Deadliest Men. The 8x60-minute documentary series on the men's entertainment channel goes into the rather dark depths of the British underworld to look for criminals. LATAM MARKET: World Wrestling Entertainment and Televisa inked a new deal to make WWE RAW available on Mexico's Galavision Canal 9. It debuts October 5 in its regular Sunday afternoon slot at 3p to over 21 million TV households. The nominees for MTV Latin America's Los Premios MTV have Colombia's Juanes topping the list with seven nominations. Los Premios MTV Latin America 2008 will air live October 16 from Guadalajara, Jalisco in Mexico. The former MD at the Starcom Ukraine media agency will manage all aspects of the Ukrainian channel's operations. Eurosport upped Director/International Media Relations Heather Bowler to her new position as Group Communications Director as well as assuming a role on the group's management board. Heather head up a global 40-staff member team composed of Paris-based employees and those in each of Eurosport's nine local nations as well as developing, coordinating and executing communications strategies. She reports to Eurosport Group's CEO and chairman Laurent-Eric Le Lay and vice-chairman Jacques Raynaud. Baby Networks Ltd. has grown the company's London-based team by adding Ralf Kies as Director/Licensing & Merchandising. He will manage BabyTV brand's international off-air strategic commercial development for home entertainment, licensing and merchandising, FMCG promotions and retail partnerships. Ralf will also develop broadcast partnerships for Baby Networks Ltd.'s audiovisual content through programming syndication to international TV channels.
