INTERNATIONAL MARKET: NBC Universal International Television Distribution and Bravo Media signed separate and exclusive multi-year deals with Australia's FOXTEL for programming and branding. Bravo's Watch What Happens campaign will be adapted by FOXTEL for its Arena channel in Australia, marking the first time the brand has taken an international step. FOXTEL picked up the exclusive basic cable rights in Australia from NBC Universal for programming from Bravo's U.S. channel. MTV Networks International (MTVNI) will launch Nickelodeon Poland on cable and digital on June 1. Targeted to K2-11, the Polish-language network will feature programming content from Nickelodeon as well as original local productions and acquisitions. The network will also have a corresponding website www.nick.com.pl . Nick shows that will air on Nickelodeon Poland include Dora The Explorer, Blue's Clues, SpongeBob SquarePants, Drake and Josh and Unfabulous as well as The Kids' Choice Awards. Additionally, the network will work in tandem with Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products, which oversees an existing licensing business across the region, for Nickelodeon's global franchises. Modern Times Group will launch the Viasat Ukraine DTH satellite platform on April 21 as the first licensed digital premium satellite operator in the country. At launch time, three pay TV packages will be offered with up to 60 Ukrainian, Russian and international channels on Viasat Family, Viasat Popular and Viasat Prestige. As part of a recent joint venture agreement between MTG and Strong Media Group, Viasat Ukraine will be launched by Vision TV. The new exclusive Canadian broadcaster of the TV movie franchise Roxy Hunter will be Astral Media's Family Channel. The movies follow the adventures of 9-year old Roxy as she solves mysteries and looks out the truth. The first installment of the series, Roxy Hunter and the Mystery of the Moody Ghost, will debut on Victoria Day, May 19 at 215p, as well as be available on Family OnDemand on May 27.
