IN MEMORIAM

Grant Tinker, former chairman/CEO of NBC, died on Tuesday, November 29. He was 90. Prior to his time at NBC, in 1969 Tinker and his then-wife, actress Mary Tyler Moore, launched indie production house MTM Enterprises, the company behind series including The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Rhoda, The Bob Newhart Show, WKRP in Cincinnati and Hill Street Blues. Tinker won a personal Peabody Award in 1994 and was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1997.
