Hulu has become the platform where cancelled shows wrap their runs. The seven unaired eps of recently shelved Manhattan Love Story will debut on Hulu Thursdays starting December 4. The rom-com delivered 2.6 million viewers and a 0.7 rating among A18-49 on its last ABC outing. Hulu is currently streaming unaired episodes of the net’s yanked Selfie, with new shows rolling out Tuesdays.

Discovery Digital Networks launched a new series with Kay Jewelers on TestTube.com called Mathropology. The show, exploring the art of being a man in 2014, is hosted by tech urbanite Anthony Carboni and U.S. Army Special Forces’ Terry Schappert, who teach each other about hunting, wine, tech and weaponry.
HGTV and entertainment rewards platform Viggle joined forces to reward the net’s viewers for engaging in its programming across Viggle platforms, and obtain data on viewer habits. “By engaging with our targeted audience across multiple platforms, we are able to obtain key insights about our viewers beyond demographics,” said Scripps Interactive Senior Vice President of Marketing and Creative Shannon Driver. “The Viggle platform offers innovative loyalty solutions with targeting, reaching our core audience on their mobile devices while they watch TV.”
Entertainment company My Love Affair created the first double-screen music video for DJ David Guetta’s new single Dangerous with MUMM House of Champagne. Fans can use two devices to see previously unreleased content from the music video, which Guetta said gives the effect of “experiencing the video firsthand.”
Iggy Azalea’s music video for the single Fancy was Vevo’s most viewed in the U.S. in 2014, with more than 380 million global views (140 million in U.S.). Vevo listed the top ten most viewed vids:

While viewing on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and other services jumped 60 percent, to nearly 11 hours a month, viewership of traditional TV dipped 4 percent in 3Q14, to 141 hours a month, according to a new study from Nielsen. "Content is still king [but] consumers are steering their own content discovery experience," said Senior Vice President of Insights at Nielsen Dounia Turrill.
…And with streaming TV and movies increasing, it’s no surprise more connected-TV devices are finding their way into U.S. homes. According to Parks Associates research, ten percent of U.S. broadband households purchased a streaming set-top or stick in the first three quarters of the year. Roku leads the market, making up 29 percent of all sales; Google’s Chromecast came second with 20 percent of all sales, and Apple TV was third, with 17 percent. New-to-the-space Amazon Fire TV clocked in with ten percent of purchases.
