Producer Lawrence Cumbo joined Bethesda, MD-based digital animation and broadcast production studio Pixeldust Studios as SVP, development & content. Cumbo brings a decade of experience as an executive producer and show runner to Pixeldust.

AMC Networks upped Jim Maiella and Georgia Juvelis to Senior Vice Presidents and Co-Heads of Corporate Communications. The pair take on their new duties at the beginning of 2017, upon the retirement of Chief Communications Officer Ellen Kroner. “I’ve had the incredibly good fortune to enjoy a fascinating and satisfying 19 years at AMC Networks. The company’s dramatic growth and success has provided a dream narrative for a communicator,” noted Kroner. “Georgia Juvelis and Jim Maiella have been important contributors to this narrative for some time, and I am confident that they will do a terrific job of leading Corporate Communications at AMC Networks.”

Fabrik Entertainment promoted Melissa Aouate to Head of Development. She was previously Senior Vice President of Development and Production.

Limelight Media named Ian Weintraub as Vice President, Marketing and head of its New York office. Previously, as Director of Branded Integration at UPP, Weintraub was responsible for Waste Management’s integration in the premiere episode of Undercover Boss and Jockey‘s multi-year endorsement partnership with celebrity stylist, Rachel Zoe.

Rauxa, the largest, woman-owned independent advertising agency in the US, named Erika Williams as Vice President of Business Strategy. Most recently, Williams served as chief marketing officer at Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival, where she led partnerships with entertainment properties.

Index Exchange expanded its management team across global markets. The appointments include Luke Fenney in London as VP, Publisher Development; Melissa Gallo in New York as Senior Director, Client Services; and Ward Flock as Managing Director of Index’s West Coast region.

Canadian production company Sphere Media Plus appointed Tara Woodbury to the newly created position of Head of Development for English-language productions. Woodbury was most recently Director of Development for Amaze Film + Television.

Carly Steel, who has worked as a special correspondent on Entertainment Tonight since joining in 2013, has been named a correspondent for the syndicated series. Steel previously served as a special correspondent for ET’s sister show, The Insider, and was a correspondent for TV Guide Network’s newsmagazine Hollywood 411.

Federation Entertainment hired Leyla Formoso to oversee sales and development of the company’s drama programming activities throughout Latin America. Formoso recently worked on a four-year project for Venezuela’s Ministry of Culture, where she was responsible for programming sales and acquisitions on behalf of their national channels.
