  1. “Responsible for” – doesn’t say what you actually accomplished. Better to say “managed, or use alternatives like “implemented” or “grew”
  1. “Microsoft Office”  – this is minimally what is expected, we all use it every day; dig deeper: Expert Pivot Tables, Visio, or Access.
  1. “References Available” – outdated like using the word “objective”
Do use:  achieved, improved, managed, influenced, launched, under budget, resolved. 
Focus on skills and results.

Randy Freer was named CEO of Hulu. He replaces Mike Hopkins, who left to become Chairman of Sony Pictures Television. Freer had been President and COO of Fox Networks Groups since 2013.
Conrad Riggs was let go as Head of Unscripted Programming at Amazon Studios. His exit follows the resignation of Roy Price as Programming Chief, and Monday’s departure of Joe Lewis, as Development Head.
Dan Castles retired as CEO of Telestream. He was replaced by ex- Cisco executive, Scott Puopolo.
Katie Hash was named Vice President of Development at Dorsey Pictures. She was previously Senior Vice President of Development at Indigo Films.
Here Be Dragons hired Kamila Prokop and David Richards as Executive Producers, and Ali Kazemi as General Counsel, Business Affairs and Legal.
Koa Beck is joining Fusion Media Group as the next editor in chief of Jezebel. Beck last served as Executive Editor of Vogue.com.

GSN named Fran Shea as Executive Vice President, Programming and Marketing for GSN TV. Previously, Shea ran her own industry consultant firm, which counted GSN as a client.
ComScore co-founder Gian Fulgoni will retire as CEO on January 31, 2018. Fulgoni had returned to the company in 2016 to deal with accounting issues. The comScore board has formed a committee to direct a search for a new CEO.
Heather Schuster was upped to Head of Unscripted at Amazon Studios, replacing Conrad Riggs. Schuster, who joined Amazon in August, previously worked with Riggs on The Apprentice, and at Ryan Seacrest Productions.  
Riptide Music Group, a synchronization and rights management company, has named Mark Ross as a Partner. Ross’s experience includes serving as Executive Director of Quincy Jones Productions.

NATPE announced the election of Netflix VP, original content Cindy Holland; Universal Television president Pearlena Igbokwe; Facebook head of development Mina Lefevre; and CBS SVP, alternative programming Sharon Vuong to its Board. NATPE also announced the formation of a new NXTGN (Next Gen) Advisory Board, populated by a group of execs across digital media with the mission to identify new trends in the media and entertainment content industry.
