Good morning. It’s Wednesday, February 26, 2014, and this is your first early morning briefing.

Head in the cloud: The Mouse House launched Disney Movies Anywhere, its iTunes-exclusive, cloud-based movie service that gives access to its 400-plus Disney, Pixar and Marvel movies on any Apple device. A take two of sorts after Internet service Disney Movies Online failed to generate interest and was shuttered 15 months ago, DMA looks a lot like Disney’s answer to UltraViolet, the digital rights library embraced by many content holders, but not Disney. Disney’s Apple-exclusive deal gives it something UltraViolet supporters don’t have–high-end real estate in the iTunes menu. As added incentive, Disney announced any user who activates a DMA account and connects it to an iTunes account would, for a limited time, get a free digital copy of The Incredibles. Disney reportedly is in talks with other content providers to add their programming to the service. Wonder who will jump in first?

It’s almost the witching hour again on Hub Network. The net returns animated Sabrina the Teenage Witch, voiced by Ashley Tisdale, mid-season on Saturday, March 15, at 12p ET/9a PT.

The Furchester Hotel is now under construction. The new CBeebies-Sesame Workshop series, about a close-knit family of "cheerfully incompetent" Muppets who own a hotel, begins filming this week for three months at the home of BBC Children’s in the UK. "The studio set is truly amazing, and to see the puppets arriving on site really brings the project to life," says Alison Stewart, head of CBeebies production.

The first-ever Disney Junior compilation, DJ Shuffle, drops Tuesday, March 18 on-where else-Walt Disney Records with lots of multiplatform fanfare. Performed by meme master Parry Gripp, the album features a duet performed by Sofia and Clover from Sofia the First, plus songs from Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Doc McStuffins. Itunes preorder begins this week, and a complementary music video will premiere on the net March 11. March 11 also begins a promo where parents can submit photos of their kids singing Disney Junior songs on the net’s Facebook page.

Robust discussion is sure to ensue at the National Conference on Bullying, being held tomorrow-Friday in Orlando. The conference is hosted by the School Safety Advocacy Council in partnership with the Florida Association of School Resource Officers and the Florida Association of School Administrators. "Bullying is no longer a Monday through Friday, 8-4 issue. We continue to witness the tragic results of bullying victimization, and both schools and communities must collaborate on their bullying reduction efforts," says Curt Lavarello, exec director for the School Safety
Advocacy Council.

When the new free Tamagotchi L.i.f.e. Angel app launches today, it will do so with some musical muscle – new music from the legendary Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Co-written and performed with Dave Grohl, the song Any Weather is the lead single from Jett’s new album and is featured prominently in the app.
