Netflix will pick up Danish series Rita for a third season. The additional season of Denmark’s TV 2 series will debut in spring 2015, and land on Netflix along with the first two seasons directly after.
The CW is making DC Comics’ Vixen into an animated series for its streaming service, CW Seed. From Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim, the show will follow a supernatural human who takes on the strength of animals. A premiere date is not set.

The streaming news network from CBS that launched in November last year, CBSN, is now available to iOS device owners. Through the updated CBS News app, users can access CBSN, including features such as “Quick Read” article previews, expanded video-on-demand offerings from CBS News programs, full-screen photo galleries and more. CBSN is available on Apple TV, Roku devices, Amazon Fire TV and CBSNews.com.
Meredith acquired native video ad solution company Selectable Media. The company’s exchange-based platform gives viewers the chance to unlock content or other incentives for watching a video ad.
