PRODUCTION & DEVELOPMENT

FX ordered Pose from Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson and Brad Falchuk. The dance musical series features the largest cast of transgender actors in series regular roles and the largest recurring LGBTQ cast ever for a scripted TV series, according to the net. One actor not in the cast is Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany, who exited a role FX said had been “reconceived and rewritten to be a 50-year-old African-American woman.” That part is now being played by Charlayne Woodard (The Leftovers).

France 2 said it has postponed a TV movie telling the story of the November 13, 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris that left 130 people dead.
